Surfing Crab Cajun Seafood & Bar is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Hostesses to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests by providing a warm welcome, managing seating arrangements, and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. No prior experience is required, as training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Welcome and greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Answer phone calls and assist with guest inquiries.
Coordinate with servers and management to ensure smooth table rotation.
Maintain a clean and organized host stand and entrance area.
Assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area as needed.
Provide excellent customer service throughout each guest's visit.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications:
Previous customer service experience is a plus but not required.
Willingness to learn; training will be provided.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, professional, and outgoing personality.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable and punctual.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally.
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
