Duties Greet guests warmly as they arrive, creating a positive first impression that sets the tone for their visit Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization and minimize wait times Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, and general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate effectively with guests regarding their seating status Support food safety protocols by ensuring cleanliness and proper handling of guest areas Assist with guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously to enhance overall guest satisfaction Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess or in food service is highly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with restaurant operations Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests and team members Experience with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately Excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with food safety standards are a plus Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service and foster positive guest relations This role is ideal for energetic individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in lively settings and enjoy creating memorable dining experiences.
