Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression. Manage seating rotation. Answer incoming phone calls with excellent phone etiquette, assisting with to-go orders, inquiries, and waitlist management. Coordinate guest seating efficiently to optimize table turnover while maintaining high service standards. Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and reservation logs. Assist in managing guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience. Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service hospitality roles. Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally. Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and etiquette. Strong organizational skills to handle multiple reservations, walk-ins, and seating arrangements simultaneously.
