Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and a seamless dining experience. This role requires excellent communication skills and a passion for providing exceptional guest services in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Greet guests as they arrive and provide them with a warm welcome. Manage the seating chart and ensure efficient table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction. Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations and providing information about the restaurant. Assist guests with inquiries, ensuring their needs are met throughout their visit. Collaborate with the wait staff and kitchen team to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, ensuring resolution to enhance guest relations. Skills Strong guest relations skills to create a welcoming atmosphere. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred. Familiarity with POS systems for managing reservations and orders is a plus. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Ability to multitask in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food service operations to assist guests with menu inquiries or dietary restrictions. Professional phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries efficiently.
