Duties Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and inviting demeanor. Manage the seating chart to optimize table turnover while ensuring guest comfort. Answer phone calls promptly, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Assist guests with inquiries regarding the menu, specials, and restaurant policies. Collaborate with wait staff and kitchen personnel to ensure smooth service flow. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area. Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and empathy, escalating issues as necessary. Skills Proficiency in POS systems to manage reservations and guest seating efficiently. Strong guest services skills to create a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Background in hospitality or food service is preferred, enhancing the overall guest experience. Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally.
