Job Description

KĀI Legacy West is seeking personable, polished, and hospitality-driven individuals to join our Host team. This position is responsible for managing guest arrivals, reservations, seating, and overall dining-room flow while maintaining the elevated standards of the KAI experience. Job Responsibilities Warmly greet guests upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized hospitality throughout their visit. Escort guests to their tables, assist with seating, and present menus with professionalism and care. Manage guest seating and dining-room flow to ensure an efficient and balanced service. Maintain accurate server rotation and seating counts to ensure fair and consistent distribution of tables. Communicate closely with management regarding daily reservations, special events, large parties, and VIP guests. Communicate guest preferences, special occasions, celebrations, and requests to the appropriate server and manager. Perform opening and closing responsibilities Work collaboratively with servers, bartenders, managers, and other team members to provide a seamless guest experience. Job Requirements 2+ years of experience in a high-volume, full-service restaurant environment preferred/required. Previous experience with OpenTable or a comparable restaurant reservation system required. Exceptional customer-service and hospitality skills. Warm, upbeat, personable, and professional demeanor. Strong verbal communication and organizational skills. Ability to communicate clearly and professionally by telephone. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while remaining attentive and engaged. Reliable, punctual, team-oriented, and able to work effectively under pressure. Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and high-volume service periods as needed.
Pay:
$16.00 - $18.00 per hour
