Job Overview Job pay is 7.25 plus tips from call in & in person to-go orders. We are seeking an energetic and welcoming Restaurant Host/Hostess to be the first point of contact for our guests. In this vital role, you will create a warm and inviting atmosphere by greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with a friendly attitude, making them feel immediately welcome Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize table turnover while maintaining guest comfort Answer phone inquiries promptly, providing information about the menu, wait times, and special events with professionalism and clarity Assist guests with seating preferences and special requests to enhance their dining experience Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a professional appearance at all times Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to facilitate smooth service flow and guest satisfaction Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service, demonstrating strong customer service skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and approachable demeanor Familiarity with restaurant POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred Previous hospitality or hotel experience is a plus, especially in guest relations and guest services Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally while managing multiple inquiries simultaneously Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving procedures, and hospitality standards Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing reservations and guest needs Join our team to deliver exceptional guest experiences through lively interactions, seamless service coordination, and genuine hospitality.
