Village Pizza is looking for a friendly, engaging, and reliable person to serve as a substitute host for our weekly Trivia Nights. Our regular Trivia Night takes place every Tuesday from 7:00 PM-9:00 PM. This position would provide coverage when our regular host is unavailable. We are also planning to add more events at Village Pizza, so there may be opportunities for this person to host additional activities in the future. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, speaking in front of groups, and creating a fun atmosphere at a local, family-owned restaurant.

As-needed Tuesday evenings from approximately 6:50 PM-9:00

$25 per hour

Paid training provided Additional opportunities to host future Village Pizza events may become available This is an as-needed position and does not currently guarantee weekly hours Responsibilities Fill in for our regular host and run Trivia Night using provided content Arrive by 6:50 PM to set up and be ready to begin on time Read questions clearly and keep the game moving Welcome guests, help organize teams, and encourage participation Keep track of scores and distribute prizes to winning teams Create a fun, inclusive, and family-friendly environment Ensure the event stays organized and runs on schedule Communicate with Village Pizza management regarding any questions or issues Potentially host other Village Pizza events as they are added All trivia materials, training, and equipment, including a wireless microphone and sound system, will also be provided. Qualifications Strong communication skills and comfort speaking in front of groups Outgoing, positive, and engaging personality Dependable and able to arrive on time Ability to think on your feet and manage a live event Comfortable interacting with guests of all ages Customer service, public speaking, teaching, performing, or hosting experience is preferred but not required Interested in potentially hosting additional events in the future Requirements Must be at least 21 years old Must have a Bluetooth-enabled smartphone or device Must have some availability on Tuesday evenings Must be able to complete the required in-person training About Village Pizza Village Pizza is a family-owned restaurant that has proudly served the Eagle Mountain community for over 20 years.
