Guest Service Host - Winter 26/27 Snowbasin Resort - 4.0 Huntsville, UT Job Details Part-time 5 hours ago Qualifications Customer communication Outdoor work experience Full Job Description Guest Services Hosts will welcome guests, answer questions, and anticipate guest needs while personalizing every interaction to provide an experience that shows our guests that we value their patronage. Guest Services Hosts are also responsible for helping to maintain the cleanliness of the plaza, which includes emptying garbage/recycling receptacles throughout the day. What will you be doing? Enhance and elevate the guest's experience consistent with Snowbasin's vision and brand. Engage and connect with guests throughout the day in an effort to make them feel comfortable and welcome. Manage and dispose of the garbage/recycling of all receptacles on the plaza multiple times throughout the shift. Greet and assist guests as they load and unload from our shuttles. Assist with traffic control at the crosswalk during our peak arrival/departure times to maximize safety. Remove snow and ice from walkways in order to maintain a safe environment for our guests and employees. Staying up to date on resort offers in order to answer questions and provide information on services like snow sports lessons, retail options, equipment rental, food and beverage options, events, etc. Assist guests with reporting and/or locating lost equipment. Help manage and/or resolve guest issues and concerns, which may include de-escalating unhappy guests. Assist other departments as needed, including but not limited to the bussing of tables on the plaza. What do you need to be able to do the job? Applicants must have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Applicants must be able to work within a dynamic team environment that may shift based on the needs of the resort and the team. Applicants must be physically capable of working on your feet in all weather conditions for several hours at a time, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Work Schedule and Environment:
7:30am - 12:30pm or 11:45am - 5:00pm. Must be available to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to work a minimum of 15 hrs/week. This work is performed in a mountainous winter environment with varying weather conditions where our employee's safety and the safety of our guests is always a priority.
