In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing reservations, seating arrangements, and payment processes. Your enthusiasm and organizational skills will ensure every guest experiences exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing excellent guest services and ensuring a positive first impression Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS to process payments accurately and efficiently Maintain organized waitlists Assist in food safety practices by adhering to hygiene standards during service and handling cash or card transactions responsibly Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Skills Previous host/hostess experience in a busy restaurant setting with strong customer service skills Knowledge of restaurant reservation management software and table management systems Experience with POS systems, including Micros POS or similar platforms, for processing transactions Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions with guests and team members Strong organizational skills to manage reservations, waitlists, and seating efficiently Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately Familiarity with food safety standards and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by combining your hospitality talents with your passion for guest service!
