Job Description
Job Summary As a Host, you will be the welcoming face of our restaurant, creating a lively and positive atmosphere for every guest. Your energetic and friendly demeanor will set the tone for an exceptional dining experience, ensuring guests feel valued from the moment they arrive. You will manage the waitlist, greet guests with enthusiasm, and coordinate seating arrangements efficiently to maintain a smooth flow of service. Your role is vital in fostering a vibrant environment where guests look forward to returning. Duties Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and make them feel at home Manage waitlists using POS (Point of Sale) systems to optimize seating efficiency Coordinate with staff to ensure timely seating and smooth service flow Maintain cleanliness and sanitation procedures in the host station and waiting areas Answer guest inquiries promptly, providing information about menu items or restaurant policies Qualifications Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required Strong customer service skills with a positive, energetic attitude Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods during shifts Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset Ability to handle busy periods with efficiency and grace while maintaining attention to detail
