Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. You will manage reservations, greet guests, and coordinate seating arrangements while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize guest flow. Provide menus and inform guests about specials or promotions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area. Assist with guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for managing reservations and orders. Uphold high standards of hospitality and guest relations at all times. Experience Previous experience as a Host/Host or in food service is preferred. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Familiarity with restaurant operations and experience in hospitality settings is a plus. Ability to handle phone etiquette professionally when taking reservations or answering inquiries. Knowledge of guest services principles and practices is beneficial.
