As a Host, you will manage restaurant reservations, coordinate seating arrangements, and ensure smooth guest flow throughout the dining area. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service to enhance their dining experience Manage restaurant reservation systems and seating charts to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction Answer phone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, handling reservation inquiries and guest questions with clarity Coordinate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely seating and efficient table management Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host station, including waiting areas and reservation logs Assist with guest relations by addressing concerns or special requests promptly and courteously Utilize POS systems such as Micros POS to process reservations or manage guest information when needed Experience Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant setting is preferred but not required; we value enthusiasm and a customer-first attitude Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone etiquette professionally Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software and restaurant table management systems Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist calculations, and POS transactions Previous food service or hospitality experience is advantageous for understanding guest needs and food safety standards Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus; training will be provided if needed

Pay:

$14.00 - $16.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 40.0 per week
