Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and assisting with check-in procedures Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using established reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer phone calls promptly, professionally, and courteously, handling inquiries about reservations and general information Coordinate seating arrangements and manage restaurant table management systems to optimize guest flow and minimize wait times Maintain clear communication with the culinary and service teams to ensure guest needs are met promptly and accurately Uphold food safety standards by adhering to proper sanitation and hygiene protocols during guest interactions Assist with guest services by addressing questions, resolving concerns, and ensuring overall satisfaction throughout their visit Skills Proven experience as a host/hostess or in food service roles with strong customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and clear verbal interactions Strong organizational skills to handle multiple reservations and guest requests efficiently Basic math skills for managing reservations, billing inquiries, and POS transactions Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and friendliness This role offers an exciting opportunity to be the welcoming face of our resort during busy morning hours.
