Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences with enthusiasm and professionalism Handle restaurant reservation management using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow and guest experience Maintain clear communication with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and smooth operations Manage guest inquiries via phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Organize and coordinate restaurant table management systems to maximize seating efficiency while maintaining guest satisfaction Assist with guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper hygiene standards during guest interactions and table setups Qualifications Previous host/hostess experience in a busy restaurant setting preferred Strong background in food service with excellent customer service skills Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlists, and billing procedures Proven organizational skills to manage multiple tables and guest requests efficiently Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on friendly phone communication and guest interactions Knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude Commitment to food safety standards and hospitality excellence Embark on a rewarding journey where your hospitality talents will shine!
