Job Summary We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Cashier to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing guest relations, and ensuring a smooth dining experience for all patrons. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to handle transactions efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Greet guests warmly as they enter the establishment and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists effectively to optimize seating arrangements. Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the Clover POS system. Process payments and handle cash transactions with precision. Provide information about menu items, specials, and promotions to enhance guest experience. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and dining area. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service delivery. . Skills Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members. Excellent guest relations skills to foster a positive dining atmosphere. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of phone etiquette for handling reservations and inquiries professionally.
