Spirit & Gems LLC | Middletown, VA $15/hour + 5% commission on eligible live auction sales Spirit & Gems is hiring an outgoing, dependable Auction Associate to help host and manage our live Whatnot auctions. This position is perfect for someone who is comfortable on camera, enjoys sales, and can keep viewers engaged while accurately presenting jewelry, antiques, vintage items, collectibles, and more. This role begins with training in our auction operations so you understand inventory, shipping, processing, and order flow before progressing into live auction hosting.

Responsibilities include:

Hosting and assisting with live Whatnot auctions Presenting merchandise clearly and enthusiastically Answering buyer questions and interacting with viewers Preparing inventory and auction sets before going live Keeping sold and unsold merchandise organized Assisting with auction closeout, shipping, inventory, and other operations when not hosting Following approved pricing, product descriptions, promotions, and auction procedures We're looking for someone who is personable, energetic, reliable, comfortable speaking on camera, detail-oriented, and able to learn about a wide variety of merchandise.

Schedule:

Part-time; shifts are scheduled around training and live auctions and may include evenings and weekends.

Pay:

$15/hour for all working time, plus 5% commission on eligible auction sales after approval to independently host auctions. Previous live selling, retail, sales, jewelry, antiques, or Whatnot experience is a plus, but not required. Training is provided.
