Part-Time | Midlothian, VA (Richmond tri-city-area models) | $16 per hour | Weekday & Weekend Shifts You are the first person a family meets when they walk into one of our homes. Before they ever sit down with a New Home Sales Consultant, you are the one who greets them at the door, learns what brought them in, shows them the home and makes sure they leave wanting to come back. LifeStyle Home Builders is hiring several part-time Model Home Hosts and Hostesses to do exactly that. About LifeStyle Home Builders LifeStyle has built Thoughtfully Crafted homes across greater Richmond since 1990, and today the company is 100% employee-owned through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). That means the people you work beside have a real stake in how every visitor is treated. We run on six core values: Integrity, Passion, Respect, Discipline, Collaboration and a Family-Oriented culture. If those sound like you, keep reading. What You Will Do Host the home. Open and close the model on schedule and keep it show ready: lights on, music playing, temperature comfortable, brochures stocked, everything tidy. Report anything that needs attention. Welcome every visitor. Greeting every prospective homeowner and real estate agent to learn what they are looking for and register each visitor in our CRM (Lasso) the same day. Every visitor gets logged, no exceptions. Tell the story. Walk visitors through the home and community and answer first-level questions about floor plans, elevations, included features, pricing and available homesites using our current base price sheets. Set the appointment. Book return visits for prospective buyers to meet with a New Home Sales Consultant and follow up by phone and email the next business day. Know all our communities. Stay current in every LifeStyle community and available home so you can point a visitor toward the right fit, even when it is not the home you are hosting that day. Rotate between homes. Work across model and spec homes as scheduled, currently concentrated in Chesterfield County, on weekdays and weekends throughout the month. Support the sales team.
Help with related tasks assigned:
brochure and price sheet updates, event setup, weekly visitor traffic notes. Show up for events. Join us for grand openings, REALTOR® events and community events as invited. What Success Looks Like Every visitor is registered. Return appointments are on the calendar. The model looks like its photos every day it is open. And the sales team trusts your notes enough to pick up the conversation right where you left it. Who You Are Experienced in sales, hospitality, retail or another customer-facing role. Homebuilding or residential real estate knowledge is a plus, not a requirement; we will teach you our homes and communities.
Genuinely enjoy meeting people:
warm, high-energy and positive with a can-do attitude. Dependable. You show up on time, weekends included, and the model opens when it is supposed to. Detail-oriented with strong follow-up habits; excellent email writing and telephone skills. Comfortable with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, and willing to learn our CRM (Lasso). Training provided. Self-directed. You are comfortable hosting a home on your own for a shift and can take on ad hoc projects with minimal supervision. Professional appearance and manner. Able to stand, walk and climb stairs throughout a shift while showing the home, and able to travel between model locations with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
