Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and accommodate special requests
- Answer phone calls and make reservations
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station
- Provide excellent guest service by addressing any inquiries or concerns
- Collaborate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth dining experience for guests
- Assist in coordinating seating arrangements during peak hours
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a host/host or in a similar customer service role is preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
