Job Description
Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Your hospitality skills will shine as you manage guest seating, handle reservations, and assist with guest inquiries. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables. Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using the POS system. Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and seating arrangements. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Collaborate with the serving staff to ensure smooth operations during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area. Assist in taking phone reservations and answering questions about the menu or services offered. Uphold high standards of hospitality and customer service at all times. Requirements Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proficient in phone etiquette and effective communication skills. Familiarity with POS systems, such as Aloha POS, is a plus. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A positive attitude and ability to work well within a team setting.
