Job Description
Job Overview We are hiring a Host/Hostess for the Captain Crab Silverdale location. Duties Greet guests promptly Manage restaurant reservations efficiently Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly Assist guests with seating arrangements and answer questions about menu items Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure smooth experience for both staff and customers Handle phone communications, managing reservation inquiries and guest requests with clarity Support overall restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness of the host stand area and entrance Qualifications Prior experience as a host/hostess in restaurant environment or similar food service setting is preferred Strong communication skills Organizational skills to manage waitlists, reservations, and guest flow efficiently Basic math skills to process cash payments quickly Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
