In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless dining experience. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, a strong ability to communicate effectively, and experience in food service or restaurant environments. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage the seating arrangements to optimize flow and efficiency. Take customer orders accurately and input them into the POS system, preferably Toast POS. Provide exceptional guest relations by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues promptly. Handle credit transactions with precision while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Assist with phone etiquette, taking reservations, and answering questions about menu items or services. Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including menus and dining spaces. Requirements Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members. Familiarity with Toast POS systems. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries.
