We are seeking skilled and passionate host for The Eleanor Room, a sophisticated kitchen and cocktail restaurant. The Eleanor Room is a cocktail focused restaurant with an emphasis on tequila and small plate dining. With a large bar and attached tasting table the restaurant we seat approximately 75 people inside with a large patio in the summer. We are searching for the perfect candidates who are passionate about amazing food and craft cocktails. Job duties include but are not limited to, the following:
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, offering recommendations, and accommodating special requests.
- Welcome guests as they arrive at the restaurant with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Become familiar with software used to manage seating.
- Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and waiting lists efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and seating options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the restaurant.
- Answer phone calls, take reservations, and provide basic information about the restaurant.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to maintain a clean and organized dining area.
- Assist servers in delivering food and beverages to tables as needed.
- Monitor and replenish supplies such as condiments, napkins, and utensils.
- Remove used dishes and glassware from tables promptly.
- Collaborate with other servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to provide smooth transitions between seating and seamless service.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including temperature controls, hygiene practices, and sanitation standards, to ensure compliance with food safety laws and regulations to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous hosting experience.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborates effectively and has strong interpersonal skills.
- Inspires confidence in both employees and ownership.
- Strong customer service skills.

Compensation:
- Compensation is based on experience + Gratuity.
