Duties Greet guests promptly with a friendly, professional demeanor, making them feel valued and comfortable Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow Coordinate seating arrangements to maximize table utilization while accommodating special requests and guest preferences Answer incoming phone calls with courteous phone etiquette, providing information about wait times, reservations, or general inquiries Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests Support guest relations by addressing concerns politely and escalating issues to management when necessary Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization at the host stand and waiting area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times Skills Proven experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant setting, with strong customer service skills Knowledge of restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional phone manner Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and organization skills Basic math skills for managing reservations, waitlists, and guest counts accurately Familiarity with food safety standards and restaurant operations to support overall guest experience Experience with POS systems including Micros POS or Aloha POS is preferred but not required Strong hospitality mindset with a focus on guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences Join our team as a Host to bring energy, warmth, and professionalism to every guest interaction.
