Duties Welcome guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression Manage restaurant reservation systems and walk-in seating requests efficiently using the restaurant table management system Square Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while accommodating guest preferences and special requests Answer incoming phone calls with proper phone etiquette, assist with reservation inquiries, and relay messages accurately Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate estimated wait times clearly to guests Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the host/hostess station and waiting area Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience Experience Prior experience as a host/hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is preferred Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellence Basic math skills for handling reservations, wait times, and table counts accurately Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and interpersonal interactions Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures is a plus Demonstrated organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs simultaneously Join our team to deliver outstanding guest experiences through exceptional hospitality!
