Responsibilities Greet guests warmly with a friendly demeanor and assist with seating arrangements to optimize table utilization Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using restaurant table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS Answer incoming phone calls with professional phone etiquette, providing information and taking reservations accurately Coordinate with the dining staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service throughout the restaurant Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, including menus and reservation logs Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and ensuring a positive first impression Support food safety standards by adhering to proper hygiene practices during guest interactions and table management Qualifications Previous experience as a host/hostess or in food service is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential Strong communication skills with the ability to handle phone conversations professionally and courteously Familiarity with restaurant reservation management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Basic math skills for handling reservations, waitlist management, and guest billing procedures Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest requests efficiently Knowledge of food safety protocols and hospitality best practices to ensure guest well-being and satisfaction Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude and exceptional customer service standards Join us in creating memorable dining experiences by being the friendly face that welcomes every guest!
