Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team at the Hilton Garden Inn Trussville. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out process. Your role will play a crucial part in creating a memorable experience for our guests and contributing to the overall success of the hotel. Responsibilities
  • Welcome and check-in guests, providing accurate information about their stay and ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of guest information, including check-in and check-out times.
  • Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Provide assistance with guest services, such as guest requests, and local information.
  • Monitor and maintain the front desk area, including cleanliness and organization.
  • Utilize phone systems to make and receive calls and respond to messages.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge about the hotel's amenities, services, and policies.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to ensure a seamless and efficient guest experience. Qualifications
  • Previous experience in hotel guest services, or a related field.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing exceptional guest experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Strong communication and phone etiquette skills.
  • Proficiency in hotel software and phone systems.
  • Experience with night audit duties.
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and best practices.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm, even in a busy environment.
  • A strong commitment to providing exceptional service and contributing to the success of the hotel.
