Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 3 - 11 pm Saturday / Sunday Front Desk Agent for the Home2 Suites located in Calera. We can guarantee 2 shifts per week, but a 3rd day may be possible on some weeks. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Experience in hotel management or guest services is preferred. Responsibilities Greet and check-in guests with a warm and friendly demeanor. Manage reservations and room assignments using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software. Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance the guest experience. Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accuracy in billing and financial transactions. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing reports and managing correspondence. Experience Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Familiarity with night audit processes is beneficial. Proficient phone etiquette skills for handling multi-line phone systems effectively. A background in resort settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
