Job Description

This position is Part-Time and requires you to be able to work weekends. This position will be 2nd and 3rd shifts. A hotel front desk agent is the primary point of contact for guests, managing the check-in/check-out process, reservations, and guest inquiries to ensure a memorable stay. They provide essential customer service, act as the "face" of the hotel, and maintain communication with housekeeping and maintenance for a smooth guest experience.
Key Responsibilities Check-In/Check-Out:
Welcoming guests, verifying reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing keys.
Reservation Management:
Handling phone, email, and walk-in bookings and updating the hotel's property management system.
Guest Services:
Providing information on hotel amenities, local attractions, and services, including arranging transport.
Financial Transactions:
Processing payments, verifying credit cards, and maintaining accurate billing records.
Complaint Resolution:
Addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
Coordination:
Liaising with housekeeping and maintenance to ensure rooms are prepared for arrival
Essential Skills & Requirements Communication:
Strong verbal and written skills for interacting with guests and staff. Common Working Conditions Working in shifts, which often includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Operating a cash drawer and managing overbookings or cancellations. Maintaining a clean and organized, welcoming front desk
Customer Service:
A warm, friendly, and professional demeanor, with a passion for hospitality.
Technology Proficiency:
Experience with hotel booking software or property management systems (PMS).
Multitasking:
Ability to handle high-pressure situations, such as a busy lobby or multiple phone lines.
Education:
A high school diploma or equivalent is generally required.
Pay:
$15.00 per hour
