This position would float between front desk agent and houseman duties as needed with 3 days guaranteed per week. Front desk agents interact with guests at multiple points throughout their stay. They typically work near the hotel's front entrance, so they're easily visible to guests with questions or concerns. The role involves administrative, customer service and technical responsibilities, such as scheduling reservations. Creating and managing room reservations via the hotel's software Processing payments for rooms and amenities, such as room service, spa treatments or reservation add-ons like cable services Greeting and checking guests in Answering questions and resolving problems, such as towel refills or key card issues Collaborating with hotel staff, including housekeepers, bellhops, maintenance workers and shuttle drivers Documenting reservations, service requests and incidents, such as elevator breakdowns Following the property's cash-handling procedures Houseman Clean all areas of the hotel that are shared guest areas. Examples are the fitness, center, lobby, taking out trash, vacuuming hallways, cleaning bathrooms and breakrooms
