Key attributes and responsibilities of the position include:  Checks guests in and out in a cheerful, friendly manner, maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with legal requirements and company standards  Ensures accurate processing of charges and completes/balances close of day procedures with full handover to next shift  Takes and records reservations accurately and confirms as requested; knows status of reservations on a daily and future basis  Observes safe cash handling procedures required by brand and company policy and is responsible for the cash drawer, cash, and credit card information transactions for their shift  Completes all company and brand required closing of daily books and credit card batch  Reviews all daily sales for any issues, high balance accounts or comp rooms and alerts the General Manager as needed  Enters all sales and revenue data into company accounting system  Sets up/maintains fresh coffee in the lobby area. Helps keep the area stocked, clean, and organized  Maintains a clean and organized lobby and front desk area  Sets up and opens the continental breakfast for breakfast personnel

Qualifications:

 Prior hotel experience a plus!  Availability for 3rd shift.  Must have the ability to learn and be proficient in the Property Management System of the hotel
