Job Description

Position Summary We are seeking a friendly, dependable, and guest-focused Front Desk Agent to join our hotel team. The Front Desk Agent is often the first and last point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience. This position is responsible for assisting guests with check-in and check-out, managing reservations, answering questions, resolving concerns, and supporting the hotel's daily operations. Key Responsibilities Welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner. Complete guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently. Manage reservations, room assignments, cancellations, and modifications. Answer phone calls, emails, and guest questions regarding hotel services, amenities, rates, and local attractions. Process payments, deposits, refunds, and other transactions while maintaining accurate records. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and complaints. Communicate with housekeeping and maintenance regarding room status and guest needs. Promote hotel amenities, upgrades, packages, and loyalty programs. Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas. Complete shift reports, cash balancing, and other required front-office paperwork. Follow hotel policies, safety procedures, and guest privacy standards. Assist other departments as needed to provide excellent guest service. Qualifications Previous hotel, customer service, or front desk experience is preferred but not required. Hilton PEP experience is a big plus Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Friendly, professional, and positive attitude. Ability to remain calm and helpful in busy or challenging situations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer and cash-handling skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Reliable attendance and punctuality are required. Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 25 pounds. Ability to perform repetitive computer and telephone tasks throughout the shift. Pay:
From $17.00 per hour
