Handles guest accounts properly including the posting of charges, and collection of payments. Ensures strict guest security by properly handling and controlling keys, issuing them only to authorized individuals, and safeguarding guest information in compliancve with privacy and security policies. Stays informed of of property details, including hours of operation, activities, and amenities and actively provide guests with accurate information about Grand Canyon Railway and Grand Canyon National Park to enhance the guest experience. Responds promptly to guest requests or complaints; taking ownership of the issue and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution, while involving the supervisor as necessary. Answers incoming calls propmply, using proper phone etiquette, addressing guest needs quickly and efficiently to ensure excellent service and a positive guest experience. Collaborates with the resport Housekeeping and Bell Staff department to maintain accurate and up-to date room status information, ensuring efficient room availability, luggage service and guest satisfaction. Adheres to all Xanterra GCR lost and found procedures, PCI, , Safety, and Environmental policies. Adapts to changing prioriies and tasks directed by supervisor, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to meeting operational needs. Other duties as assigned Qualifications Previous experience in the hospitality industry, in a guest facing position. Previous experience operating a point of sale system, processing a variety of cash and credit card payments. Experience in computers and Windows-based software, with the ability to navigate and utilize various programs efficiently.
