Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing accurate change
Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
Assist with reservations and check-outs
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills:
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
Strong organizational skills to manage guest reservations and maintain a tidy front desk area
Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
Cash handling experience to process payments accurately
Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
Retail math knowledge for handling merchandise sales, if applicable
Technology sales knowledge, if applicable
Multilingual skills are a plus for assisting guests from different backgrounds
Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
