Full Job Description Responsibilities:
  • Greet and check-in guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
  • Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and providing accurate change
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate department or staff member
  • Assist with reservations and check-outs
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel policies and procedures to ensure guest satisfaction
Skills:
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change
  • Strong organizational skills to manage guest reservations and maintain a tidy front desk area
  • Excellent customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
  • Cash handling experience to process payments accurately
  • Phone etiquette to handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
  • Retail math knowledge for handling merchandise sales, if applicable
  • Technology sales knowledge, if applicable
  • Multilingual skills are a plus for assisting guests from different backgrounds
  • Familiarity with operating a cash register or point-of-sale system
