Position Overview The Lounge Associate is a key member of the Lounge team and helps create the welcoming, upbeat, and community-focused environment that makes the Lounge feel like a home away from home . This is a hands-on position where no two shifts are necessarily the same. Lounge Associates support guest service, check-in, table and patio maintenance, point-of-sale transactions, restocking, events, and bar or budtending duties as trained and assigned. We are looking for someone who pays attention, takes initiative, and is willing to jump in wherever support is needed.
The goal is simple:
take care of the guests, take care of the space, take care of the team—and help make the Lounge a place people want to come back to. Responsibilities
  • Welcome guests, assist with check-in and guest entry, answer questions, and help create a friendly and welcoming Lounge experience.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and welcoming indoor and outdoor guest areas, including tables, patios, fire pit areas, and service areas.
  • Buss and sanitize tables, remove trash, address spills or messes, and complete routine cleaning throughout the shift.
  • Monitor and restock snacks, drinks, service items, propane, and other Lounge supplies.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system and accurately process guest purchases and transactions.
  • Assist with bartending and/or budtending responsibilities as trained and assigned.
  • Assist with setup, operation, and breakdown for Lounge events and private functions.
  • Pay attention to the flow of the Lounge, adjust priorities as needs change, and jump in where support is needed without always waiting to be directed.
  • Follow company policies, safety and security procedures, and applicable cannabis regulations.
  • Assist with other Lounge duties as needed Qualifications
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Must successfully complete and pass the required City of Cotati Live Scan/background check.
  • Previous hospitality, retail, customer service, food service, or cannabis industry experience preferred.
  • Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of guests.
  • Dependable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to maintain a positive and professional attitude.
  • Team-oriented, proactive, and willing to help wherever needed.
  • Able to multitask, recognize changing priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Naturally attentive to guest needs, cleanliness, organization, and the overall appearance of the Lounge.
  • Comfortable learning and using POS systems and other applicable equipment.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and events as needed. Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
  • Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, carry, clean, and buss tables.
  • Ability to move supplies, service items, and equipment as needed.
  • Ability to perform duties in both indoor and outdoor guest areas.
  • Ability to safely use cleaning supplies, Lounge equipment, and other equipment required for daily operations. Compensation & Benefits $18.25
