JOB SUMMARY
The Guest Service Agent assists hotel guests by registering and assigning rooms, issuing room keys, making and confirming reservations, and presenting statements and collecting payments from departing guests.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
RESPONSIBILITIESGreet, register, and assign rooms to guests and checkout guests following established Company procedures and policies; ensure that all guests sign a guest registration card and provide a credit card or other method of paymentCommunicate all hotel policies to guests and answer any questions regarding policiesBe familiar with room locations, types of rooms, and room ratesAnswer, screen, and forward phone calls, take messages, and schedule/change reservationsAnswer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining,entertainment, and travel directionsCommunicate guest needs and facility issues to housekeeping and/or maintenance staffResolve guest issues quickly, efficiently, courteously and professionally, and refer issues to management when necessaryOther duties as assignedREQUIRED SKILLS AND

EXPERIENCE
- EDUCATIONHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredMinimum of six (6) months of customer service experience preferredProficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and OutlookProficiency with OPERA preferredPrior experience in the hospitality industry with brand experience preferredCHM Hotels participates in E-Verify
