Job Description
Front Desk / Guest Services — Part-Time | Piedmont Springs Piedmont Springs is an award-winning neighborhood spa that has served the East Bay for more than 40 years. We're looking for a dependable, personable and detail-oriented individual to join our front desk team and help create the welcoming, relaxing experience our guests have come to expect. This is a hands-on guest services and spa operations position . Our front desk team does much more than answer phones: you'll welcome guests, manage reservations and check-ins, help keep the spa running smoothly throughout the day, and work closely with the rest of the team to make sure our facilities are clean, prepared and ready for each guest. What you'll do Welcome guests, check them in and help create a friendly, professional experience from arrival through departure Answer phones and assist guests with reservations, scheduling and general questions Help guests understand our services and spa experience Prepare and reset rooms between appointments Monitor the flow of guests and help keep services running smoothly and on time Maintain clean, organized and well-stocked guest areas, including the lobby, bathrooms and treatment/facility areas Handle towels and laundry throughout the shift, including folding and restocking Perform routine spa-facility responsibilities such as checking chemical levels Assist with gift cards and other routine front-desk transactions Complete opening, closing and other daily operational tasks as assigned Work collaboratively with other front desk staff, massage therapists and the broader Piedmont Springs team What we're looking for You don't need previous spa experience, but you do need to be someone who: Provides genuinely excellent customer service Is friendly, professional and comfortable interacting with a wide range of guests Can stay organized and composed when several things need attention at once Pays attention to details and follows through on responsibilities Is dependable and works well as part of a team Is comfortable with a job that combines customer service, computer/phone work and active hands-on tasks Is willing to help wherever needed to keep the spa clean, prepared and operating smoothly Schedule This is a part-time position, generally 3-5 shifts per week , with a combination of: Day shifts: approximately 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.
