Job Description

SUMMARY
  • The Palisades Tahoe Lodge is located at the base of the Palisades Tahoe ski resort. It is crucial that candidates can get to work, even in the toughest conditions. This is a Part-Time, Year-Round position consisting of three 8 hour shifts per week. Shifts for this position are Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 11pm and Fridays from 10am to 6pm. Front Desk Agent
  • will create a positive, welcoming and empathetic environment that creates remarkable and personal Owner & Guest experiences.
Carries out the Lodge front desk operations during their shift. Provides administrative duties as needed. The Front Desk Agent should be able to effectively escalate any questions or concerns that they are unable to answer on their own. Each Front Desk Agent is an integral part of the Front Desk Team.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests and owners in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service and address guest concerns or complaints
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
  • Assist with reservations and ensure accurate billing
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Qualifications:
  • Some experience in guest relations or customer service roles preferred
  • Proficient in operating phone systems and other office equipment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
