Front Desk & Reservations Specialist Join the Pajaro Dunes Resort Team — A Unique Beachfront Vacation Rental Company! Pajaro Dunes Resort is a full-service hospitality and property management company located on the beautiful Central Coast. For over 50 years, we've managed a unique collection of privately owned beachfront homes, townhouses, and condominiums while providing vacation rentals, conferences, property maintenance, housekeeping, and real estate services. Though we're a close-knit team of 40+ employees, we're growing—and we'd love for you to grow with us. We're seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk & Reservations Specialist who is passionate about hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences. In this dynamic role, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, owners, and vendors while supporting reservations, guest services, group seminars, and our lobby gift store. What You'll Do Welcome guests, homeowners, and vendors with friendly, professional service. Manage guest check-ins and check-outs while ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience. Answer phones, respond to Outlook email correspondence, and assist guests in person with professionalism and warmth. Book, modify, and confirm vacation reservations through direct bookings and third-party platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo. Assist guests with questions about resort amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance their stay. Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to fulfill guest requests and maintain exceptional service. Process lobby gift store purchases and assist with retail operations. Maintain accurate reservation records, guest notes, billing information, and daily administrative tasks. Utilize hospitality and sales skills to recommend amenities, services, and accommodations that enhance the guest experience. Support additional operational needs as business demands change—no two days are the same. What We're Looking For A positive, energetic, and dependable team player who enjoys helping others. Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, reservations, hotel front desk, or sales preferred (hospitality experience is a plus but not required). Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and online reservation platforms such as Airbnb and Vrbo. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook email correspondence, point-of-sale systems, and other computer applications. Bilingual or multilingual candidates are encouraged to apply. Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-oriented when resolving guest concerns. Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and seasonal schedules as needed.
