Front Desk Representative Job Overview Best Western Rio Grande Inn has an open position for a professional Front Desk Representative . As a Front Desk Representative , you will be the first person greeting our guests with a welcoming friendly smile. Here at the Best Western Rio Grande Inn, we thrive to be an excellent team with exceptional customer service. Professional communication skills are required, as well as caring for guests and giving them a great hospitality experience.
Front Desk Representative Job Requirements:
- Greet guests with a friendly smile and a "Welcome to Best Western" statement.
- Check-in and Check-out guests during your shifts. Inform guests about amenities, the hotel layout, everything we have to offer with Best Western Rewards and rates, as well as inform guests about all the local activities and attractions nearby.
- Be able to make reservations, take payments, collect registration forms, and assist with any room requests or complaints quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Answer phones with a pleasant greeting and approach.
- Complete all front desk tasks in a timely manner, as well as organize and clean workstation and lobby.
- Provide the best customer service for our guests, make them feel comfortable and assist them so they can thoroughly enjoy their stay.
- Computer skills and proficiency in operating a hotel property management system is required with our training. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written is a must.
- Ability to multitask, problem solve with patience, and work with other departments to complete all duties and requests for guest satisfaction.
