Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Overnight Front Desk Clerk, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests during the nighttime hours. In this vital role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our property, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional guest service, and safety throughout your shift. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help foster a warm, secure environment that guests love to return to. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a lively, fast-paced setting. Candidates must also understand this position is for night shift only 11p.m-7a.m. Training will take place during the day from 10a.m to 3p.m. If selected to interview in person, you could possibly start training the same day, dress business casual. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide efficient check-in and check-out services using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and customer service problem-solving skills Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction Conduct night audit procedures to reconcile daily transactions, update financial records, and prepare reports for management review Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve issues effectively, and ensure guest relations are maintained at the highest level Enforce hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to safeguard guests and staff during overnight hours Collaborate with housekeeping, maintenance, and security teams to ensure property cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency during your shift Skills Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication and service quality Familiarity with property management systems (PMS), especially OPERA or comparable platforms, for reservations and guest account management Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations, problem-solving, and conflict resolution Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to handle unforeseen situations confidently Excellent phone communication skills combined with professional phone etiquette for handling inquiries around the clock Ability to work independently during overnight shifts while maintaining high standards of hospitality service Join us in delivering outstanding guest experiences while advancing your career in hospitality!
