Job Description

Key Responsibilities & Duties Guest Services & Registration:
Greet guests upon arrival with a professional and friendly demeanor. Process check-ins and check-outs using Property Management Systems (PMS), issuing key cards and providing property orientation. Verify guest identity, contact details, and payment information.
Reservations & Financial Management:
Handle direct walk-in reservations, phone calls, and email inquiries. Accept cash, credit card, and digital payments, balancing cash drawers at the end of shifts. Explain billing charges, room rates, tax structures, and hotel policies clearly.
Customer Support & Conflict Resolution:
Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints with empathy and efficiency. Troubleshoot room issues, coordinating immediate fixes with Housekeeping or Maintenance. Provide recommendations for local dining, attractions, and transportation.
Operational & Interdepartmental Coordination:
Communicate room status updates with the housekeeping team. Manage incoming mail, messages, and luggage storage requests. Maintain strict adherence to guest privacy policies, safety procedures, and emergency protocols. Required Skills & QualificationsCategoryRequirementsEducation High school diploma or equivalent (Associate/Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management is a plus). Experience 1+ years in customer service, retail, or hospitality roles preferred. Technical Skills Proficiency with Property Management Systems (e.g., Opera, Cloudbeds) and basic Microsoft Office. Soft Skills Strong verbal communication, conflict resolution, active listening, and composure under pressure. Availability Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, overnight shifts, or rotating schedules.
