Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Guest Service Agent to join our dynamic hospitality team! In this pivotal role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their experience begins with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service. Whether managing check-ins, handling guest inquiries, or coordinating reservations, you will play a vital role in delivering seamless guest experiences across all touchpoints. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality management skills while working in a vibrant, guest-focused environment. Must be flexible to work day time hours, night time hours and weekends. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide a friendly, professional check-in experience using property management systems (PMS) such as OPERA or similar platforms. Manage guest reservations efficiently through hospitality reservation systems, ensuring accuracy and special requests are accommodated. Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing detailed information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and directions. Handle guest requests and complaints with tact and problem-solving skills to ensure maximum satisfaction and swift resolution. Maintain accurate records of guest interactions, room assignments, billing details, and incident reports while adhering to hotel emergency procedures. Collaborate with front desk team members and other departments to coordinate guest services such as room upgrades, late check-outs, or special accommodations. Support night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy at the end of each shift. Experience Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is highly preferred; familiarity with property management systems like OPERA is a plus. Proven customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. Strong knowledge of hospitality management principles, including guest relations and hotel emergency procedures. Experience working with hospitality reservation systems and property management software (PMS). Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for handling client interactions professionally via phone or face-to-face. Background in resort or hotel environment preferred; experience with night audit processes is advantageous. Demonstrated ability to solve customer service problems quickly while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
