Hampton Inn & Suites Athens I-65 Huntsville Area - House Attendant-Lobby Join Our Team as a House Attendant! The House Attendant plays a key role in creating a clean, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for guests. This position is all about keeping public areas sparkling, assisting guests with friendly and helpful service, and supporting the setup of events that add excitement to their stay. In addition to being a behind-the-scenes hero for the housekeeping team, the role requires individuals who are detail-oriented, physically capable, and committed to delivering exceptional service with a positive attitude.
KEY SKILLS/RESPONSIBILITIES
Master of the
Mess-Free Zone:
Keep every nook and cranny spotlessfrom equipment to facilitiesbecause sparkling clean is the only way we roll.
Shine Patrol:
Tidy up lobbies, hallways, and restrooms so theyre not just cleantheyre impressively polished. Carpets, furniture, and fixtures should all be guest-ready and gleaming.
Guest Whisperer:
Be quick on your feet when guests need something. Deliver with a smile and make every interaction feel like five-star service.
Event Sidekick:
Help set the stage for meetings and events. Whether its chairs, tables, or tech, youre part of the behind-the-scenes magic.
Safety First, Always:
Keep sensitive areas secure, handle lost-and-found items like a pro, and follow safe work habits to stay injury-free and ready for action.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; experience in a hotel or related field is a plus. Valid drivers license for the applicable state required, along with an acceptable Motor Vehicle Driving Record (MVR) if driving is property specific. Ability to perform well in stressful or high-pressure situations.
