Overview We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Front Desk Manager to lead our front office operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this pivotal role, you will be the welcoming face of our establishment, ensuring seamless guest experiences from check-in to check-out. Your leadership will foster a positive environment, uphold exceptional customer service standards, and coordinate daily front desk activities. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality management expertise while creating memorable stays for our guests. Responsibilities Oversee all front desk operations, including guest check-in and check-out processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. Manage reservations using hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA or Property Management Systems (PMS), maintaining up-to-date booking records. Provide outstanding customer service by addressing guest inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and anticipating guest needs with a friendly, professional approach. Supervise front desk staff, including training on phone etiquette, multi-line phone systems, and guest interaction protocols to ensure consistent service excellence. Handle night audit procedures, reconciling accounts and preparing reports to support financial accuracy and operational transparency. Enforce hotel emergency procedures, ensuring staff are trained and prepared to respond effectively to various situations. Maintain guest relations by managing complaints diplomatically and fostering a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Skills Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations with a strong understanding of hotel management principles. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with diverse guests. Proficiency in hospitality reservation systems such as OPERA and property management systems (PMS). Exceptional customer service skills combined with problem-solving capabilities to address guest concerns swiftly and professionally. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, night audit processes, and guest services best practices. Excellent communication skills for client interaction via phone communication and in-person engagement; strong phone etiquette is essential. Experience working in resort environments or hotels with extensive guest relations responsibilities is preferred. $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
