Maintenance Supervisor (Night Shift) Posted on July 7, 2025 July 7, 2025 by JMJ Phillip We are seeking a hands-on and experienced maintenance supervisor for the night shift to oversee facility and equipment maintenance operations in a fast-paced production environment. This individual will be responsible for leading a team of technicians, ensuring machine reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, well-organized, and committed to maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. Position Responsibilities Team Leadership and Oversight Supervise night shift maintenance staff, assign tasks, and ensure coverage for all essential operations Provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to team members Coordinate shift handovers and ensure clear communication between shifts Equipment Maintenance and Troubleshooting Lead preventative maintenance programs and unscheduled repairs on production equipment Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and control issues and ensure timely resolution Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, work orders, and parts inventory Safety and Compliance Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Conduct routine inspections to identify and correct potential hazards Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement Operational Efficiency Support production goals by minimizing equipment downtime and improving reliability Collaborate with production and engineering teams on process improvement initiatives Monitor maintenance KPIs and implement solutions to improve overall performance Prerequisites 5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment 2+ years in a supervisory or lead role Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Willingness to work night shifts on a regular basis Certifications (Preferred, but Not Required) OSHA Safety Certification Industrial Maintenance Certification Electrical or HVAC Technician License CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) What the Role Offers Fixed annual salary of $85,000 Leadership role on a critical operations team during night shift hours Opportunity to work in a dynamic production setting with career advancement potential Full-time, permanent position with a 25% placement fee Stable company culture that values safety, reliability, and teamwork Why Brunswick?
