Job Description

Hiring for a full time front desk clerk at an extended stay hotel. Evening (4pm-midnight) availability needed. . You will be checking guests in/out, taking payments, assisting guests with their needs/concerns, and other duties such as doing laundry and cleaning public spaces/office during your shift. Weekend and holiday availability is needed since we operate 24/7/365. This position is full time (40 hrs) per week
Duties:
  • Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
  • Answer phone calls and assist guests with inquiries or requests
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
  • Handle guest complaints or issues with empathy and problem-solving skills
  • Process payments and maintain accurate records
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk and lobby area, wash, dry and fold hotel linens.
Requirements:
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Proficient in using phone systems and computer software
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle cash transactions with integrity
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Note:
Previous experience as a hotel front desk agent or experience with Choice Advantage PMS is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy interacting with people, providing exceptional customer service, and being the face of the hotel.
