As the Guest Service Representative, you will interact with our guests to ensure their expectations are exceeded. Ensures clear communication with guests during the arrival and departure experience, phone interactions as well as general requests from guests. Be well versed in promotions, events, pricing, and sales strategy to meet the guest's request. Efficiently handles all payments received. Ensures key control as well as other systems and procedures are in place and followed for guest safety and security. Offers guests assistance whenever possible. Responsible for resolving escalated customer relations issues. Responsibilities Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures. Manage reservations through multi-line phone systems and online platforms. Provide information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities to enhance guest satisfaction. Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience. Conduct night audits as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting and record-keeping. Maintain front desk operations efficiently while adhering to hotel policies and procedures. Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests. Assist in managing guest relations by fostering a welcoming environment for all visitors. Skills Strong background in hospitality management or hotel management preferred. Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction. Proficient in phone etiquette and managing multi-line phone systems effectively. Experience in front desk operations within a resort or hotel setting is highly desirable. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse guests. Knowledge of night audit procedures is beneficial for candidates applying for evening shifts. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with guests quickly.
