Job Description
Job Summary Join our hospitality team as a Front Desk Agent, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable guest experiences from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our hotel, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth daily operations. MUST BE IN REXBURG THROUGH DECEMBER
Required:
If a student, must be here through the 7 week break. Hiring preferably someone who is in Rexburg through the end of the year (through December), and students who are off track for Spring semester or online. This position will range between 16-32 hours a week. Average and most common hours per week will be 24 hours, 16 on select few slow weeks, and 32+ on busy weeks. Must be available for shifts 7am-3pm, 3pm-11pm and 5pm-9pm. Pay Starting pay is $12.00 an hour. After 60-90 days have been completed and performance evaluated, pay will increase to $13.00 an hour. Continued raises possible based on performance. Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression and smooth check-in process Handle guest inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy, utilizing multi-line phone systems and excellent phone etiquette Manage reservations, cancellations, and modifications efficiently using hotel management software Provide detailed information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to address guest requests promptly and effectively Conduct night audits when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports to ensure financial accuracy Assist with guest relations by resolving issues swiftly and professionally to ensure maximum satisfaction Skills Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication skills Ability to stand for long periods of time Exceptional phone etiquette and professional demeanor in all interactions Ability to problem solve and offer quick solutions This role is perfect for motivated individuals passionate about hospitality who thrive in fast-paced environments.
