PART TIME & FULL TIME FRONT DESK AGENTS

Starting at $16 hour The Quality Inn Elgin is currently looking for self motivated, detail oriented, guest focused candidates to fill the position of Front Desk Agent. The successful candidate will be welcoming, efficient, professional, and determined to deliver quality service to every guest, every time. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be required to work as a team player, and also independently, in a positive and fast paced environment. A candidate who excels in multi tasking, with great communication skills is ideal.

The following positions are available:

PT 7a-3p (Sat/Sun) PT 3p-11p (Sat/Sun) FT 3p-11p (M-F)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintain warm, welcoming, and professional demeanor when greeting and interacting with all guests Check guests in and out, ensuring proper payment is received, special requests are noted & fulfilled, and accurate information is recorded Answer the telephone & greet all guests in a professional manner Follow set procedures on posting charges and settling guest accounts Effectively identify and resolve problems that arise, ensuring the problem is resolved to the guest's satisfaction Be knowledgeable of all emergency procedures and hotel policies Practice punctuality and timeliness when it comes to scheduled shifts and hotel related functions Must be 18 years of age or older to apply Adhere to dress code and grooming polices.
